About Us

The Cody Elks Lodge on Beck Avenue has earned a 4.6-star reputation the straightforward way: good food, fair prices, and a room full of people who actually know each other's names. Pull up a stool at the bar, order the double cheeseburger with waffle fries, and you'll understand immediately why locals keep coming back.

This lodge carries a distinction that sets it apart from every other Elks hall in Wyoming. It's the last remaining lodge in the entire state where members can still light up on the smoking side of the bar, while a fully separate non-smoking section keeps the air clear for everyone else. Two sides, one community, no argument about it.

Lunch and dinner run daily, the casino adds a little extra entertainment between rounds, and the crispy chicken wings have developed a following all their own. Visitors passing through Cody, Wyoming on the way to Yellowstone regularly stop in and leave wishing they lived closer.

What We Offer

The kitchen turns out honest, made-to-order bar food without the wait you'd expect at a busier spot. The double cheeseburger is the anchor of the menu, thick and fresh, served alongside golden waffle fries that hold their crunch. Chicken wings come out crisp every time, seasoned right, and priced the way bar food should be.

Beyond the plate, the full-service bar pours cocktails and cold beer for members and their guests throughout lunch and dinner service. The on-site casino gives you something to do between bites, and the lodge hosts regular events that keep the calendar busy year-round. Whether you're a traveling Elks member presenting your card or a local looking to join, the door on Beck Avenue is an easy one to walk through.

"Beautiful lodge. Having 1 person staffing the bar while also acting as cook isn't the best idea. Took almost 20 minutes to order the 1 drink we stopped in for while visiting town."

"Very nice Elk's Lodge, also an interesting feature that it's the last remaining Bar at any Elk's Lodge in the state that people can smoke in, on one side, and the other side is non-smoking."

"Beautiful lodge! Built in the 40's. Bartenders Cory and Jessica are awesome. Got a private tour of the building from a couple of officers. Gorgeous lodge room! Didn't care for the smoking, but there is a non-smoking area."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
